Nike SB Dunk Low Black Pigeon

Sneaker culture wouldn't exist without the original 2005 "NYC Pigeon." Jeff Staple envisioned a shoe that reflected his city and decided the ubiquitous bird was the perfect fit. He debuted the sneaker at his Reed Space store. Word spread, lines formed, the Dunk craze began, and sneaker culture has never been the same again. The sneaker itself is considered one of the Holy Grails. Its long-awaited reappearance coincides with the SB Dunk's 15th anniversary and Staple Design's 20th anniversary. Jeff Staple provides a basic black canvas to "just let the pigeon be the story," as he puts it. The "Black Pigeon" arrives in a pink box as a tribute to its original era and signifies endless possibilities for sneaker culture.
