The Nike Mag is a shoe introduced in 2011. It is inspired by the pair worn by Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) in the film Back to the Future 2. Only 1,500 pairs were made and sold exclusively on eBay through auctions, with all proceeds benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through aggressively funded research. The shoe closely resembles the pair featured in the film, with a futuristic LED light-up kit incorporated into the design.
