This collaboration with Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH is now ready for distribution after debuting on the New York runway earlier this year. AMBUSH® creator Yoon Ahn is the first female designer to collaborate with Nike and the National Basketball Association (NBA), offering a vibrant product featuring branding, co-branded details, and a basketball-inspired aesthetic. The original Dunk dimensions have been reimagined in honor of Japan's bicycle, car, and truck culture, with Swooshes extending past the heel like bicycle tubes. "I thought, 'How can I make the shoes almost look like this thing in motion?'" says Ahn. A large heel counter features embossed lettering on the back of the shoe, while co-branded insoles and tongues add a subtle twist to the classic features.
