Nike Air Max 1 London

The Air Max 1 'London' is inspired by the city's metropolitan surroundings and everyday activity. The many grey tones and rough materials, such as worn leather and hairy suede, allude to the mix of concrete and stone structures that make up England's capital. To pay homage to London's appreciation of the original Air Max 1, this version retains the original mesh in the upper, collar, and tongue. The design is completed with abstract interpretations of two of London's most prominent sites on each of the shoe's side panels, as well as the River Thames represented around a 3D-embroidered emblem on the heel.
