Michael Jordan was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 1985 after starting his career with a spectacular points-per-game average and a passion for success. Jordan Brand commemorated the occasion by releasing the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Rookie of the Year." The high-top features a white leather upper with ventilation holes on the toecap and Gold Harvest leather overlays on the mudguard, ankle, eyestay, and heel. Nods to MJ's stellar rookie season are hidden inside each upper strap. "1984-85 ROY 2313 POINTS 28.2 PPG" is written on the inside of one strap, while the other features a Jordan quote.
