The Yeezy Boost 700 V2 is seen as the successor to the original Yeezy 700, which debuted during Kanye West's 2017 Yeezy Season 5 presentation. It retains the original's components while modernizing it with a slimmer design. The "Vanta" version, released in June 2019, features an all-over black color scheme on a multi-layered mesh upper with suede overlays. Full-length adidas Boost technology soothes the foot, wrapped within the 700's signature chunky sole.
