The Basement, founded in December 2013, is a London-based collective that connects the city's young creatives through inclusive online and physical venues. Its members, who come from a variety of backgrounds, are united by their love of culture and community, and plan meetups through Facebook groups and local venues. The sneaker, designed by member Daniel Pacitti, incorporates nine fabrics, including canvas, corduroy, denim, and leather, to represent the diversity of The Basement's youth.
