The Air Yeezy "Zen" was released in April 2009 as one of three Kanye West colorways and Nike's first joint release. The design, featuring a predominantly neutral colorway with bright highlights throughout, is a completely fresh style with features derived from Nike classics. The patent leather midfoot strap has a distinctive texture, and the toe cap is made of premium suede. When the lights go out, the understated rubber outsole glows green underfoot.
