Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Low By Virgil Abloh White Green

In 2022, 40 years after the introduction of the Air Force 1, the culmination of the silhouette's rich history was achieved with the introduction of Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton x Nike "Air Force 1". Published posthumously, Alboh's work perfectly connected the decades of prominence of the famous Nike sneaker.

In total, Virgil Abloh designed 47 bespoke pairs of Nike "Air Force 1" for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 fashion show in collaboration with Nike. To distinguish them from the original Nike Air Force 1, the sneakers were crafted from the materials used in Abloh's Louis Vuitton men's collections and matched with his quotes, which echo the written graphics Abloh used to adorn the shoes. Each pair was made by Louis Vuitton in Fiesso d'Artico, marking the first time that the AF1 model was made outside of a Nike factory.

In January 2022, Virgil Abloh's first installment of Louis Vuitton x Nike "Air Force 1" hit the market through Sotheby's, with a total of 200 pairs offered up for auction in one exclusive colorway and one accompanying pilot case. A general version of 9 additional pairs was released in June 2022. This collaboration between LV and Nike has produced some of the most authentic high-end sneakers ever created.
