Jordan 1 Retro Royal (2017)

Chuck Kohn, a sports photographer, shot Michael Jordan wearing the Air Jordan 1 Royals in 1985. This photograph, which was later made into a Nike billboard, was the first time anyone saw Michael wearing the Air Jordan 1 sneakers. Ever. Jordan picked the Royals, his favourite colorway, to be the first Air Jordan 1 available for purchase. They were also the only colorway he never wore on the court out of the Top 3 Air Jordan 1 Retro colours ('Banned' and 'Chicago'). The Royals have been released three times since 1985: in 2001, 2013, and 2017.
