The newly revealed rear is reminiscent of the "Metallic Red" design previously revealed in May 2017. It features a predominantly colorless layout across the upper and outsole. The toe cap (hence the "Red Toe" nickname), profile Swooshes, ankles, and outsole are all adorned with a vibrant crimson pop. Branding on the lateral ankle flap and tongue label further contributes to the dramatic "University Red" contrast, further connecting the Air Jordan 1 iteration to the history of the Chicago Bulls.
