BWOOD is now available at dropout

As part of a strategic move to expand visibility of prominent streetwear brands in Italy, dropout is excited to announce the availability of American independent streetwear label BWOOD both instore and on dropoutmilano.com

Since 2003, Brian Wood has been an independent American fashion designer who has contributed to the growth of streetwear. His unique BWOOD men's and women's apparel and accessory lines reflect a rebellious attitude and whimsical sense of humour that has gained him a strong following among young, urban consumers.

BWOOD's relevance is credited to a signature, conceptual style that mixes painstaking workmanship, tech fabrications, and mashup patterns with a reference to popular culture - each garment is made to be conversational and thought stimulating, providing individuals who wear them strong social statements.

Brian has collaborated with Nike on unique designs and prototypes, as well as forecasting and creative direction for special releases and capsules encompassing apparel, footwear, and store design. He has also collaborated on branded design projects.

He has also done limited edition design collaborations for CBS Television, High Times, and Crown Royal. Brian co-designed a sub-brand called BWVS and a more logo-heavy collection called No Deal with Vinnies Styles in Brooklyn.

Musicians Future, Ciara, DJ Marshmello, Jillionaire of Major Lazer, Big Boi of Outkast, Lil Jon, Tory Lanez, and H.E.R. have all worn BWOOD, as have actor and singer Utkarsh Ambudkar, actor Alan Cummings, comedian Chad Tepper, and nightlife promoter David Grutman.

BWOOD is available in the Lower East Side district of New York City at the Wood Shoppe retail outlet and official brand headquarters and now in Europe through dropout.

Brian founded BWOOD in a Washington Heights neighbourhood apartment after graduating from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Fashion Design, equipped with big city hopes and an industrial sewing machine to produce his pop-art-inspired first T-shirt line.
