Devá States is a clothing brand founded by Theo Kusuma and Mol Edrin in Indonesia in December 2015. Devá, which means "the shining" or "divine" is a word from Sanskrit, one of the oldest languages of Indonesia. The brand is inspired by a wide range of artistic references and disciplines, as well as the traditional Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which celebrates beauty in imperfection.
