Jordan 1 Mid Shattered Backboard

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Smashed Backboard' commemorates a legendary event in basketball history when then-rookie Michael Jordan shattered the hoop's backboard during an exhibition game in Italy in 1985. The shoe, which debuted in September 2019, is based on the legend's Stefanel jersey in black nubuck with contrasting tumbled leather and 'Starfish' Swooshes. The Wings logo stays on the ankle, while a Jumpman logo appears on the tongue. A traditional Air-assisted rubber cupsole remains.
