Nike ha unito tre tonalità originali di Air Jordan 1 ("Bred/Banned", "Chicago" e "Royal") in un'unica nuova colorazione, la Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Top 3", nel 2016. La scarpa presenta colori non corrispondenti pannelli e suole pur rimanendo fedeli al design originale con le insegne "Wings" sulla caviglia e il marchio Nike Air sulla soletta e sulla linguetta. "Top 3" si riferisce anche alla selezione di Jordan come terza scelta assoluta nel Draft NBA 1984.
