La Wmns Air Jordan 1 Mid SE 'Corduroy' ha una nuova struttura sulla sneaker che ha dato il via a tutto. Piuttosto che in pelle, la tomaia della scarpa è realizzata in velluto a coste ed è rifinita in una miscela di bianco sporco e pesca, con un arancione brillante che accentua lo Swoosh in pelle scamosciata sintetica sulla parete laterale. La linguetta e le insegne "Wings" sono anch'esse realizzate in pelle scamosciata, mentre una suola in gomma bianca trattiene l'aria nel tallone per l'ammortizzazione. La trazione è fornita da una suola in gomma concentrica.
