The Basement, fondato nel dicembre 2013, è un collettivo con sede a Londra che collega i giovani creativi della città attraverso luoghi inclusivi online e fisici. I suoi membri, che provengono da una varietà di background, sono uniti dal loro amore per la cultura e la comunità e pianificano incontri attraverso gruppi di Facebook e luoghi locali. La sneaker, creata dal membro Daniel Pacitti, incorpora nove tessuti, tra cui tela, velluto a coste, denim e pelle, per rappresentare la diversità della giovinezza di The Basement.
