L'edizione 2022 di Air Jordan 2 Retro "Chicago" riporta la silhouette legacy nella sua forma originale del 1986. Un design radicale rispetto al suo predecessore, la sneaker scarta il marchio Nike Swoosh mentre introduce il logo Jordan "Wings" sulla linguetta. I lacci neri fissano una tomaia in pelle bianca decorata con linee eleganti, dettagli traforati e un rivestimento in finta pelle di lucertola ispirato alle calzature di lusso. Un controtacco cremisi fornisce un tocco di colore contrastante, mentre un marchio Nike decora il colletto posteriore. La tradizionale suola preformata è sostituita da un'intersuola in poliuretano nero con ammortizzazione Air-sole incapsulata.
